Color Changing Lemonade
This is an easy and enchanting lemonade drink. What gives this drink its color changing lemonade are dried butterfly pea flowers. I bought mine on amazon, you can find them here. When steeped in water they turn the water a dark blue color. Then once lemon juice is added the color changes to a beautiful bright prink color.
We start off by making a butterfly pea flower tea concentrate. Once we add lemon juice to this we turn it into lemonade!
I usually let the flowers steep anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes, once it’s a deep dark blue color it’s ready to go. I usually pop it into the fridge so it can cool quickly.
Pour that cooled tea concentrate over ice, pour lemon juice, and watch the magic take place before your eyes! Enjoy
